Paid Twitter Verification

After the heated discussion of Elon Musk as the owner of Twitter last week, he does not cease to surprise and radically change the policy of the social platform Twitter. In Twitter's new business policy, the main goal was to significantly increase revenue and monetization of the platform through services based on subscriptions and potential donations. This week, Elon Musk presented another idea: to make the verification process paid

Now Twitter is checking popular official accounts with a large number of subscribers. Celebrities, brands, politicians, and journalists are among the most frequently verified accounts, as well as major content creators and influencers. According to Musk, the efficiency factor with such a policy simply spends a lot on the employees and, accordingly, burns the budget of the corporation. The Tesla founder sees the way out with the introduction of Twitter Blue - a premium service that users can access for $ 4.99 per month. According to the new system, Twitter Blue will cost $19.99 per month and will reward subscribers with a blue confirmation icon.

It was also said that those who have passed the verification but have not paid for the subscription within 90 days - lose the blue tick. Verification on Twitter is special, which many people strive for because it is not only status but also a more frequent hit in the tops by views. It is unlikely that Elon Musk will pay off his idea, because according to rumors, Musk demanded that employees implement these changes by November 7, otherwise their jobs may be at risk!

Search Insights Update

Last week, YouTube further expanded the functionality of Search Insights by adding more languages to increase accessibility. Search Insights is a functionality that allows content creators to get information about viewers based on their search history. It can be used to evaluate indicators such as the amount of traffic received by the channel based on certain search queries!

Previously, Search Insights was only available for English-speaking users, but now it will also be available for languages such as Hindi, Korean, Japanese, and others. YouTube stated that they plan to continue adding language options in the future to increase the level of capabilities of this functionality.

To the news about Search Insights, YouTube said that they were working on improving the Super Thanks feature, which was introduced in September this year to help content creators working with Shorts. Super Thanks is a new type of push notification, these are purchased tokens of appreciation that viewers can send to creators, and they serve as an excellent source of income for content creators on the platform.

YouTube has refined this feature to notify the content creator every time he receives Super Thanks. The company hopes that this should theoretically improve the relationship between the creator and the fan and allow the creators to create a more communicative and interconnected community.

Meta Expanded The Professional Mode

Last week, Meta confirmed that the professional mode option, which was previously available only to a narrow circle of content creators, became available to all users on the platform.

Now an option available to everyone will allow creators around the world to have access to a professional mode, which will give them much more creative opportunities and more opportunities for analytics and monetization. Professional Mode will offer broad tools for attracting subscribers, such as new collaboration options, as well as deeper analytical data with the help of a new professional dashboard.

This option has another useful feature - the Reels Play bonus program, where you can earn money by sharing videos with subscribers.

Also, Meta, inspired by Super Thanks from YouTube, plans to add the Facebook Stars function to the professional panel - this is a digital currency that fans and subscribers can purchase and send to the creators to express their support. This feature will be available for some time only to the creators of Reels and Lives, but in the future, the integration of this function will move to text and graphic publications.

The company also confirmed that it is testing ads on the reels to increase monetization opportunities for content creators. In addition, users will have the opportunity to enter subscriptions, providing exclusive content for subscribed viewers.

Shopping On Snapchat

Snapchat has entered into a partnership with BigCommerce, the social platform that will work on integrating the possibility of more in-app purchases. Now sellers with BigCommerce will be able to display their products directly in Snaps, allowing users to click on links and make purchases.

This is an interesting partnership for Snapchat, which is looking to further develop the shopping features on the platform in an attempt to attract an audience to the app. Earlier, Snapchat announced that they are working on creating digital clothing options for Bitmoji authors, this option is paid and gives users more control and customization of the appearance of their presentation in the application.

The plans for cooperation with BigCommerce also include further development of the ability to synchronize their product lines with their Snapchat accounts using the option on the BigCommerce user panel; they promise to add this feature in several regions next year.

Sellers will be able to measure the performance of their Snapchat using Snap Pixel, which will provide detailed metrics and analytical information!

“BigCommerce merchants of all sizes in the US can now directly integrate their store as a one-stop shop to synchronize product catalogs and create exciting advertising campaigns on Snapchat to expand customer reach, discover new revenue sources, and ultimately take their business to the next level” - BigCommerce representative.

Instagram Has Started Testing The Sale Of NFT

Instagram has started testing the sale of NFT in the app, news about it was released back in the summer. In the next update, Instagram will make this feature available, at first, the social network will not charge a commission for purchases.

Instagram has developed tools for creating, demonstrating, and selling NFT. The first partner will be the Polygon service, based on the Ethereum blockchain.

Users will be able to buy NFT in the app, the company will provide users with a comprehensive set of tools for creating, demonstrating, and selling NFT.

Meta is testing new features "with a small group of authors in the USA." The Corporation expects to expand to other countries soon. "For the first time, [content] creators on Instagram will be able to release and sell digital collectibles directly in the app. Slowly, and then all at once!", - commented the co-founder of the Landfill Mikhailo Bilic.

Meta has expanded the capabilities of users to demonstrate NFT on Instagram by integrating a video format. The company also allowed the issuance of tokens issued on the Solana network and added support for the Phantom wallet.

Another new option is the ability to view the metadata of collections from the Open sea marketplace directly in the application.
