Creating your account
To begin working with Clickadu, you need to register on their website. To do this, click the Register button, then you will be prompted to register either as an advertiser or publisher. Choose the advertiser option.

Creating your Campaign
This process is not complicated and we will take you through all available options. So, let’s start from the beginning.
Click on the Create Campaign button at the top of the page. The next page will look like this:
You will have to give your campaign a name first, then choose the ad format.
The type of ad format will determine the price model. Here are the available pricing models:
- CPM - Cost Per thousand impressions (Miles).
- SmartCPA - Cost per action with an automatic optimization algorithm.
- SmartCPM - Maximum possible CPM you are willing to pay. The cost will be adjusted automatically according to your ceiling price.
- SmartCPC - Cost per click with an automatic optimization algorithm.
Smart pricing models offer users very intuitive features. They will perform tests through your campaigns to determine what offers and websites are the best fit for your vertical. You will only pay when the desired actions are achieved. It is also possible to manually edit the Slice and Frequency limits.
Once you have selected the pricing model, you need to input the Target URL. But where does this come from? To get the target URL, you need to go to the Tracking tab and copy the postback URL. Now, switch to your tracking software, create a ‘new traffic source’, and paste the Clickadu postback URL in the ‘postback URL’ field. Edit the postback URL token ‘click id’ to the tracking solution token to be able to track more data through your URL. Use ’click id’ token fields (or External ID) to create additional ${SUBID} parameter. Don’t forget to name it. For you to get the traffic zones statistics and to create white and blacklists we suggest that you do the same with {zoneid} token.
Now, use the postback link you have created as your target URL.
Next, you will need to choose the Capping. Frequency Capping is a limitation on the number of times your ads are displayed to the same person on a publisher's website. When a website visitor sees the ad for the first time, the ad server receives the info about the individual cookie. If you set Frequency Capping to be 3:24, it means one visitor will see your ad only 3 times per day.
Now, depending on the ad format you select, you may need to upload your video, create your Pushup or Push notifications.
The next option is to choose the Country and Bid. You need to select the countries you want to target and set the bid. You can click on the Traffic Inventory link to guide you on the minimum and the average bid for each country. There is also a Cohort setting that targets users with a specific lifespan.
You will have to set your advertising budget in the next option.
The campaign schedule is where you choose on what days your campaign will run. Note that all time frames are enabled by default.
For Targeting, you have simple and advanced options. Int the Simple section you can just select the device type, while the Advanced tab gives you way more options and filters.
Once everything is done, you should agree to the terms of use and click on the ‘Start Campaign’ button.
