Affiliate Grand Slam is due to be just that, a grand slam of an event! One of the biggest draws of this conference is that there will be two complimentary super-shows under one roof. Fused alongside Affiliate Grand Slam (AGS) will be AIBC Dubai, proving to be a wonderful merger of exposure for anyone working in or even just interested in the industry.

AGS is not holding back when it comes to the quality of the opportunities to learn and network. From established companies to start-ups, there is no shortage of events that you can participate in. A star-studded cast of experts in their respective fields and industries will be giving presentations that you will be able to attend throughout the day.

Pre-registration and AGS Awards

Guests should arrive during the day on the 24th of May. Pre-registrations and welcome reception will be held at Vista Lounge of the InterContinental Hotel at 18:00. Here you can receive your badge and do a little networking. At 20:00 AGS Awards will be held in the Al Baraha Ballroom to celebrate the best in the industry and start the weekend off with a bang.

Day 1

Throughout the day from 9:00 to 19:00, you can explore the expo floor and check out stands from various exhibitors. 

The conference will begin at 9:30. You will be able to listen to high-ranking members of prominent companies speaking as well as founders of successful companies in the industry sharing their experience.

From 9:30 to 13:00 speakers will discuss the latest trends of affiliates and digital marketing. Topics include digital marketing brand strategy, ad tech, and possible opportunities in different regions.

After that, the second part of the presentations will commence from 14:30 to 18:30. Speakers will explore topics related to marketing in crypto, recruitment of content affiliates, new technologies, and content creation.

On the evening of day 1, there will be plenty of opportunities for networking while getting some drinks at Vista Lounge between 18:00 and 20:00 that will be followed by exclusive dinners and boat meet up by the conversion club that will go on until 23:00.

Day 2

On the second day, participants of the conference can continue exploring the expo floors before the beginning of the conference at 10:00. Speakers will discuss innovations of affiliate and digital marketing until 14:00.

Things to know about Dubai

Dubai attracts tourists from around the world with its sophisticated shopping malls, grand hotels and resorts, and inspiring modern architecture. However, some things should be considered to make your trip to Dubai pleasant and worry-free.

Even though this is one of the most modernized cities in the Middle East, it is still part of the United Arab Emirates and the laws are heavily influenced by the population’s religious views. No one should give you any troubles but to be courteous to the local population, it’s best to dress modestly when you go out to public areas and restrain from showing physical affection in public.

However, you do not need to worry about your appearance if you stay within your hotel or resort area or at the beach. 

Alcohol is also not prohibited and there are plenty of bars and restaurants where you can try local beers and wines. However, restrain from drinking in public as it is strictly prohibited.

It’s also important to prepare for the weather to be hot as it usually gets in these areas. In May temperatures range between 23°C and 36°C, with an average of 31°C.

But the most important thing, of course, is to take it all in and experience Dubai as best as you can with all it has to offer.
