Octo is an anti-detection browser well-known to most affiliates. Since its release three years ago, it has consistently delivered maximum convenience for its users without fail. The browser even received the MAC AWARDS 2024 for the Best Anti-Detection Browser category.
Recently, the largest update since the project's launch has been released, and in this article, we'll discuss the changes and additions made by the developers.
Octo commented on this update as follows:
"In the 2.0 update, we focused on implementing user requests. Last year, our team worked hard to solidify our position as a technological leader — and we succeeded excellently, outpacing our competitors. At the same time, we carefully listened to user feedback regarding browser convenience. Now, with Octo 2.0, many user requests have been fulfilled, and even more has been done as well."
Without peers in technical aspects, the team also focused on user requests. Let's list the innovations.
Redesign
Octo has revamped its interface by adding more settings and simplifying profile configuration. Additionally, profile tables now feature customization options.
In the profile table, you can now add additional columns, rearrange them, stretch or hide them. Editing profile descriptions can now be done directly within the table, saving time. Profile settings are also accessible directly from the table, and the structure of settings is now more compact.
All options remain accessible and are now categorized into tabs: 'General', 'Fingerprint', 'Cookies', 'Security', and 'Extensions'.
Enhanced Sorting and Search
Octo now features an advanced filter for customizing searches by:
- Proxy,
- Status,
- Password,
- Tags.
Additionally, the search retains 5 last queries made from the device.
Mass Profile Creation and Import
Octo 2.0 enables the creation of up to 100 profiles with just a few clicks — both quick profiles and profiles imported from cookie files of other browsers. Users can import data for these profiles, use templates, edit manually, or set them randomly.
Two-Factor Authentication
Two-Factor Authentication significantly reduces the risk of data theft. To enable it for your account, you need to select the "Enable 2FA" option in the settings and follow the instructions.
Other Enhancements
In addition to interface improvements, functionality updates, enhanced search, and security features, Octo has introduced several other changes. For instance, users can now choose between macOS Intel and macOS ARM architectures.
Furthermore, the automatic logout of users every 30 days has been disabled, and users can opt to enable it themselves in the settings.
For those working with the browser via API, Octo has simplified operations and revised error codes to display understandable text if they occur.

To celebrate this significant update, the Octo team has prepared a special offer. If you've been considering switching to the most technologically advanced browser, now is the best time.
