Following a triumphant appearance in Malaga, 1win is set to draw the audience's focus once again at the iGB LIVE event in Amsterdam from July 17th to 18th. As a prominent iGaming operator in 2024, 1win aims to introduce its affiliates to their award-winning platform, which saw participation from over 30 million players last year. Sources within the company indicate that their presentation will have a futuristic, cybernetic theme, in line with their motto, “The Future of iGaming starts here.”

Key figures from the 1win team, including affiliate managers and executives, will be present to demonstrate their platform and articulate the company's vision for the future of iGaming.

Affiliate Valley asked the Head of Communications at 1win Partners – Adele, to tell more about herself and the company.

Which are the biggest opportunities in affiliate marketing in the next few years? 

There are many opportunities, and it will take me hours to go through all of them. I think video content (even podcasts) have a lot of potential. But I tend to see other things which caught my attention recently - many affiliate marketing professionals prefer to work with established names, as early IG influencers made money on deals with “shady” partners, which led to a huge reputation blow. I believe that affiliates will be more concerned about who they work with now, rather than take the money now and forget about their audiences’ needs.

Why 1win? What helps your company to stand out from the crowd?

 I know I may sound a bit biased, but I think there is no other iGaming brand that is so beneficial for its affiliates. We provide up to $200 CPA, and a leading RS model - we start at 50% gross gaming revenue, which is way more than many other competitors (by the way, most iGaming providers use net gaming revenue, so fees are deducted from the revenue). We also have very high LTV, weekly payments, and over 20+ GEOs where 1win is among the market leaders. 

What strategies do you use to nurture and maintain long-term relationships with affiliates or influencers?

I don’t follow a strategic approach when it comes to building relationships with our partners, even in a business context. Every relationship I’ve ever built is grounded in three simple principles: honesty, respect, and professionalism. I believe our partners sense this sincerity and understand that we genuinely want them to succeed.

How do you leverage data and analytics to optimize affiliate marketing campaigns and identify top-performing content or channels?

Data is a huge part of any successful campaign, which is why I pay a lot of attention to it. In most cases, I use analytics tools to find real-time insights about the target audience of the 1win brand. It also helps with the consumer behavior, as our goal is to provide 24/7 partner support to our affiliate partners and the players.

What are your hobbies and interests?

When it comes to sports, I've been all about high heels dance for the longest time, but lately, I've been diving into boxing and wakeboarding—and I can totally see myself sticking with these for the long haul.

As for hobbies that feed my soul, I absolutely adore fashion and everything it entails. Sewing and creating my own pieces is a joy, even though I'm far from being a pro at it! I’m studying French, too!

How do you handle situations where affiliates or influencers promote competitors or conflicting products?

We're all colleagues in our industry, and we respect our competitors. After all, our goal is to provide the best value for our affiliates. As long as they are collaborative and put effort to promote our brand, we'll always encourage them to drive more revenue for themselves. And I think numbers speak for themselves - we’ve got over 474,000 partners from around the world.

What initially drew you to a career in communications, and what continues to excite you about this field?

I chose communications because it felt like a natural fit for me— I’ve always been sociable and find genuine joy in connecting with people. I also love finding creative ways to translate my ideas to the world, so pursuing this career path was a no-brainer.

Do you believe AI will challenge affiliates, or help them?

I believe AI will both challenge and assist affiliates. It's like acquiring a new essential skill. AI holds great potential to enhance affiliate marketing strategies, but it also requires affiliates to learn how to effectively leverage these tools.

How does 1win stay ahead of the curve in the iGaming industry?

We always want to be at the forefront of the iGaming industry. We want to be up with the latest trends, and we bring a lot of innovations, many of which can be seen during the iGB Live in Amsterdam which 1win will attend.
