Affiverse reports that only 8% of brands are using AI for campaign optimization, despite 70% of e-commerce and B2B SaaS brands saying marketing-spend optimization is a top priority. That mismatch is interesting on its own, but it is even more interesting for affiliates working in SaaS and B2B leadgen. If brands know they need better optimization and attribution but adoption is still low, the affiliate layer has room to act as an education-and-conversion bridge.

This is not the loudest part of affiliate marketing right now, but it may be one of the cleaner ones. B2B SaaS rarely gets the same volume hype as gambling or adult, but it can produce strong economics when affiliates understand intent, positioning, and decision cycles. In that sense, the underuse of AI optimization is not just a brand problem. It is also a distribution opportunity for affiliates who know how to sell software through content and trust rather than pure impulse.
