Google’s March 23 gambling policy update is no longer a warning, it is the working reality. Any account that wants to advertise gambling or gaming now has to show “good policy health,” and Google is also drawing a harder line on domains. Free-hosted sites, third-party root subdomains, unrelated domains, and second-level domains not owned and operated by the advertiser are out.

For gambling affiliates, the ugly part is MCC exposure. Google says manager accounts with a significant number of revoked gambling certificates or policy-breaching managed accounts can lose the ability to apply for new certifications, and existing certifications can also be revoked. In practice, that means one messy structure can poison a bigger setup. Search gambling traffic still works, but thin accounts and lazy domain logic are getting much harder to hide.
