CrakRevenue’s latest adult-market content points in a much more mature direction than the old “just use a smartlink” pitch. Its 2026 roundup says adult monetization is increasingly shaped by AI companionship, premium cam experiences, and strong dating funnels. Then its April funnel article makes the next step explicit by explaining how dating traffic can be routed into cam flows to maximize revenue. That combination matters because it reframes the job from one-offer monetization to deliberate traffic routing.

This is why smartlinks in adult are starting to look less like a beginner tool and more like an operating layer. Mixed traffic rarely belongs in one conversion path anymore. Some users monetize better on dating, some on cam, and some on newer AI-driven products built around a different type of engagement. A routing layer lowers the cost of being wrong about that traffic too early. Instead of forcing every user through one assumption, the system can sort users into better-fit outcomes.

For affiliates, the practical takeaway is clear. In adult, the edge is shifting away from “find one hot offer and pour volume into it” and toward “build a better monetization architecture for broad or mixed intent.” That does not remove the need for good sources or strong creatives. It just means routing quality is becoming part of performance quality. And that is usually where more mature verticals end up.
