Golden Goose Review: A Mobile Subscription Affiliate Network

Golden Goose features, and traffic monetization schemes. It's gonna be hot!

Golden Goose offers mobile karaoke, video, audiobooks, dating, and other services billed to users’ mobile balances. You can earn a one-time payout for a subscription or generate revenue from renewals. Here’s a look at the rates in the catalog, how to choose an offer for your traffic, and what to check before launching your first campaign.

How Golden Goose Works

Golden Goose is an affiliate network specializing in mVAS—paid mobile value-added services. It works with international traffic, and its catalog includes GG In House and exclusive offers.

Users click an ad, land on a service page, and activate paid access. With DCB, or Direct Carrier Billing, the charge is deducted from their mobile balance. Affiliates earn a commission under their chosen payout model.

Golden Goose supports CPA and RevShare. CPA pays for a subscription activation; RevShare pays for successful charges, including renewals, or rebills. CPA is easier to assess by acquisition cost, while RevShare requires tracking how much subscribers generate over time.

If you’re new to the vertical, start by understanding how WAP-click subscriptions work. Golden Goose’s catalog includes different subscription flows: 1ClickFlow, 2ClickFlow, and PIN Submit.

The first requires one click; the second requires two. With PIN Submit, users enter their phone number and verify it using a code sent by SMS. These flows affect the path to subscription, so consider them alongside the payout when comparing offers.

Offers and Subscription Payouts

The catalog has two verticals: Mainstream and Adult. Within them are content categories such as music, video, dating, downloads, and others. Each offer lists its country, carrier, subscription flow, and payout.

Here are a few examples of CPA offers:

OfferGEO and carrierSubscription flowPayout
Kaspersky PlusRussia, MTS1ClickFlow$0.99
EroPiosk, adult videoRussia, MTS2ClickFlow$0.28
Mobile KaraokeTajikistan, Tcell1ClickFlow$0.05
My Mood, Video DatingRussia, Beeline2ClickFlow$0.45
AudiobookBelarus, MTS2ClickFlow$0.09

These amounts are the affiliate’s commission for the required action, not the subscription price paid by the user. You cannot apply one offer’s rate to another carrier or country, even if the content is similar.

How to Compare Payout Rates

An offer paying $0.99 is not necessarily more profitable than one paying $0.45. Results depend on the cost of clicks and the share that turn into payable conversions.

Suppose you test a CPA offer paying $0.45. You spend $30 on 10,000 clicks and generate 100 payable subscriptions. This is a hypothetical calculation, not a Golden Goose case study.

Your earnings would be $45, leaving $15 after ad spend, or a 50% ROI on that spend alone. You still need to deduct any other costs, such as tools, fees, and team expenses.

At that traffic cost, you need at least 67 payable subscriptions from 10,000 clicks to cover ad spend—a conversion rate of approximately 0.67%. During a test, assess the revenue generated by all the traffic you bought, including clicks that never resulted in a subscription.

How to Choose an Offer in the Catalog

Use the filters to match offers to the traffic parameters you already know. You can filter by country, carrier, vertical, category, traffic source and type, payout, and CPA or RevShare.

Additional filters cover daily caps, trial periods, schedules, ratings, and availability. Offers can be public or available on request. New, top, exclusive, GG In House, and GG Verified offers have separate labels.

Golden Goose offer filters for country, carrier, conversion flow, payout model, and billing type

For your first test, choosing one GEO and carrier makes it easier to understand why traffic converts or misses the offer. For example, if you work with Russian MTS traffic, compare the services available for that carrier, then assess the content and subscription flow.

Pay attention to two different parameters. CPA and RevShare determine how the affiliate earns, while the billing interval determines how often the subscriber pays: daily, weekly, monthly, or once. This is not the network’s payout schedule.

For a billable offer, an activation counts after funds have been deducted from the mobile balance. For a non-billable offer, a charge is not required for the activation to count. Keep this distinction in mind when comparing conversion rates: the conditions for crediting a conversion differ.

Launching Your First Campaign

After registering, complete the questionnaire and wait for account activation. Then choose either a direct campaign for a specific offer or a smartlink.

A direct campaign makes it easier to compare results for the selected offer. A smartlink matches offers to incoming traffic and is useful for mixed audiences.

Before buying traffic, prepare the campaign:

  1. Match your targeting to the offer. Select the correct country and carrier, and check the subscription flow and Wi-Fi requirements. The catalog includes offers that support Wi-Fi, so there is no need to exclude it across every campaign.
  2. Check the cap and schedule. Confirm how many subscriptions the offer accepts and whether it runs around the clock. Set ad delivery to match its restrictions.
  3. Get your source and materials approved. Prepare creatives and a prelander that meet the advertiser’s requirements. The network’s terms require approval of the advertising materials you use.
  4. Set up conversion reporting. If you use an external tracker or conversion-based optimization in an ad network, configure a postback and check that the click ID is passed correctly.
  5. Set a TrafficBack URL. Decide where to send clicks that do not qualify for the selected campaign.

After launch, check the first clicks and conversions in your reports. If clicks are being sent to TrafficBack, identify the reason first: increasing the budget will not fix an incorrect carrier or a cap that has already been reached.

Tracker, Smartlink, and TrafficBack

Golden Goose’s built-in tracker is free. It lets you create reports with multiple levels of grouping and compare traffic performance. Postbacks send conversion data to external systems, while domain parking is available for links.

TrafficBack redirects clicks to a specified URL when the campaign cannot accept them. Reasons can include an unsupported carrier, a cap that has been reached, a disabled offer, or an advertiser-side restriction.

For example, a campaign targeting one carrier may receive clicks from subscribers of another. Separate these clicks from traffic that matched the offer but did not result in a subscription. These are different causes of lost conversions and require different fixes: adjust targeting in the first case, and investigate the offer and landing page in the second.

A smartlink still needs analysis. It helps route mixed traffic, but you must continue comparing costs and revenue by source and placement.

Withdrawing Your Earnings

Golden Goose supports USDT, Capitalist, PayPal, Payoneer, Skrill, Paxum, Perfect Money, WebMoney, and bank transfers. Payouts are made daily, on request. The minimum withdrawal and fee depend on the payment method.

Confirm the terms for your chosen payment option in advance when planning your working capital. What matters is how much you will receive after fees and when the money becomes available. A general daily payout schedule alone does not establish review or hold times.

Payments depend on the network receiving funds from the advertiser. Credited earnings may be adjusted if payments are reversed. When assessing results, distinguish between reported conversions, the amount available to withdraw, and money already received.

What Affiliates Say

Daily payouts are a recurring theme in English-language reviews on Affpaying. Reviewers say they make it easier to reinvest earnings in traffic. Others praise one-click and two-click offers and help from account managers.

good review

Feedback on Trustpilot’s gg.agency profile is less favorable. Reviewers allege frozen earnings, canceled withdrawals, account blocks, and difficulty getting support. There is also positive feedback about withdrawals and tracking. These are individual user accounts; the public reviews alone do not establish the reasons for a payment dispute or verify either a complaint or a positive result.

Review

Compare reviews with your own use case. For a website owner with a mixed audience, smartlink performance matters more; for a media buyer with precise targeting, the results of a specific carrier and offer are more relevant. Someone else’s review cannot replace a test with your traffic source.

Is Golden Goose Worth Trying?

Golden Goose is an option for monetizing mobile traffic if you’re prepared to work through carrier targeting, subscription flows, and traffic source quality. In-house offers, a built-in tracker, and a smartlink provide several ways to get started.

For your first test, choose one offer with clear targeting. Calculate your break-even point, check conversion reporting, and understand how TrafficBack works. You’ll then be in a better position to decide what to change: traffic costs, placements, the prelander, or the offer itself.
